The scheme involves the construction of the infrastructure on this previously remediated site, for a joint housing venture at Berry Edge between Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes.

The principal activities included foul and stormwater drainage from connections to the Northumbrian Water sewers to the first plot manhole outside the roads, all in all, some 650 l/m including concrete and UPVC drainage.

Installation of road crossing ducts as detailed by the statutory service providers.

Excavation and construction of the estate roads including the construction of kerb raft, brick on edge, and trimming roads ready for tarmac.

Phase 2 reclamation was completed and the site transferred to Barratts Developments at the end of November 2014
